L'Antico Casolare is a
typicalfarmhouse in theComune of
Castelcivita in the Cilento national Park, about 20
kmfrom the splendid Cilento coast and from the
famous Temples of Paestum.
L'Antico Casolare is
situated an a terraced garden with fruit trees and olive
trees. It has all the characteristics of a typical
farmhouse.
It preserves its original
XVIII century structure; built in stone, it has stables,
cellars, open-air overs forbread-making, a
well. It has always belonged to the Ricciardella family.
Its memories live through
the furniture, in the objects and in the winery and
gastronomic traditions passed on through the
generations.
Castelcivita is famous
for its splendid caves, situated on the south-west edges
of the mountains, not for from the River Calore.
